While this review doesn’t specifically mention the lighting design, it speaks quite eloquently to the emotional impact of the production. As a lighting designer, one of my charges is to reinforce and highlight the emotion in a production—often without anyone noticing. I’ve included this review because it speaks indirectly to the impact lighting can have on an audience without them even knowing.
